We went to see the new Martin Luther King statue - the Embrace. We also went to see the new Boston University "stairs" building. We really liked Henriette Table in Harvard Square. We lived in Boston for a long time so what we were interested in wasn't the typical sightseeing trip.

if you have a large group and lots of luggage, renting a car should be a priority. Most places we visited in Boston there was a garage nearby which we could pre-book and pre-pay over the phone using the app and some places the use of designated parking was free with ticket validation. Traffic was nota huge problem and gave us the freedom to go wherever we wanted to go.
